Information collected automatically
When you submit a form, we record your IP address and browser details (user agent). We use these to limit spam and abuse. Our hosting provider may also keep standard server logs of visits.
Information we receive while working with you
If you become a client, we may handle business details, account access and store data as needed to do the work. We use these only to provide the agreed service.
How we use your information

- To provide, manage and support the services you ask for.
- To send messages about your project, invoices and payments.
- To protect the website against spam, abuse and security problems.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting duties.
We will only send you marketing emails if you have agreed to them or if the law allows it, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
When we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only when needed:
- Service providers: companies that help us run our business, such as website and database hosting, email and payment services. They may only use it to provide their service to us.
- Platforms you ask us to work on: such as Shopify, Google or Meta, when your project needs it.
- Legal reasons: when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and safety and those of others.
- Business changes: if our business is merged or sold, in which case this policy continues to protect your information.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add them, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
Third-party links and affiliate offers

When you click one, that website's own privacy policy applies, and it or its affiliate partners may use cookies to track the referral. We do not control how they use your information, so please read their policies.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, in case you come back to us. We keep client and billing records for as long as we need them to provide the service and to meet our legal, tax and accounting duties. When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.
How we protect information
We protect your information by limiting who can access it, keeping access credentials private and storing it with our hosting provider. No website or online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where the law requires it.
International transfers
We and our service providers may store or process information in countries other than the one you live in, and data protection laws differ between countries. When we transfer information, we take reasonable steps to keep it protected as described in this policy.

Order Buzzer Shopify app
This section applies to merchants who use the Order Buzzer app. For the app, it replaces any different statements elsewhere on this page.
Order Buzzer is a Shopify app made by Optixfusion. It plays an alert in your Shopify admin when a new order comes in, until someone on your team acknowledges it.
What the app uses
- Orders (read only): the app asks Shopify for the
read_orderspermission so it can see new orders, such as the order number, total and time. It cannot change, cancel or create orders. - Customer name: if Shopify approves our access, the alert shows the customer's name so your team knows whose order it is. Without that approval, alerts show no names.
- Your store's session: when you install the app, Shopify gives us an access token and basic details about the store and the staff member who opened the app. We use these only to sign you in and load your orders.
- Your settings: your sound and alert choices, and which orders have been acknowledged.
What the app stores
Order Buzzer does not store your orders or your customers' personal information. Orders are read live from Shopify each time the app checks for new ones. Your settings and acknowledged orders are saved in your own store's app data on Shopify. On our server we keep only the Shopify session needed to run the app, in a database hosted by our hosting provider.
How the app uses this information
We use this information only to show you new-order alerts inside your Shopify admin. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone except our hosting provider, which stores the session for us, and Shopify itself.
Sound, vibration and screen
The alert sound is made in your browser. On supported devices the app may also vibrate and ask the screen to stay on while the app is open. It does not use your microphone, camera or location.
Deleting your data
- When you uninstall Order Buzzer, we delete the store's session from our server. Shopify removes the app's saved settings from your store.
- We respond to Shopify's privacy requests. Because the app does not store customer data, customer data and deletion requests have nothing to return or erase. A shop deletion request removes anything we still hold for that store.
